The Sheffield Knights are delighted to reveal the new home and away jerseys that the club will be wearing. After months of work on the design and detail we can now show off our new colours that the club will be wearing from this week, with the Knights playing away at Steelers B in BHUK Central Conference tomorrow evening, and by the club in the Tier 2 BHUK Nationals tournament on Saturday.
Not only is the shirt about a new look, it’s also the clubs nod to our dear friend David Stafford and remembering our fallen teammate. The club has decided to promote the two causes that meant the most to David, and the Stafford family with Thornberry Animal Sanctuary and the British Heart Foundation. The club will be doing work with both charities over the next few years to help promote their causes, and we will be announcing them in due course. The club would like to thank our fantastic sponsors for allowing us to use the front of the jersey for both charitable causes. The jersey also has the number 15 that Dave wore on the sleeves of all jerseys, and one which will the club will be officially retiring in the near future. Details of the shirt retirement will be released by the club in due course.
A spokesperson from the club spoke about the shirt launch, which was held at Grosvenor Casino “The shirts have gone down a treat with the whole team. They’ve been a while in the making but we feel that it’s been worth the wait. We’ve been impressed with how our suppliers have made sure the jerseys look as great as they do, and we can’t wait to see them on the rink. We love the shirts, and we think everyone else will love them as well”
We would like to thank our shirt suppliers Cross Check Clothing for producing our new jerseys, and Eighty Eight designs for helping put together the designs. If you would like to purchase one of the new Sheffield Knights jerseys, please get in touch with us through email@example.com.
